Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FTSC Consulting ("we") handles personal information in connection with BlendMod at https://blendmod.com. We aim to collect only what we need to run the services.

1. Information we collect

• Account information — your name/organization, email, and a securely hashed password.
• Billing information — subscriptions are processed by PayPal. We receive a subscription identifier and status; we do not receive or store your full card or bank details.
• Content you provide — data you enter into the hosted Facts Generator (e.g., ingredient and panel data).
• Usage & device data — IP address, browser/user-agent, timestamps, and log data needed for security and to operate the service.
• Cookies — see our Cookie Policy.
• Acceptance records — when you accept our policies we record your email, the version accepted, the date/time, your IP, and browser, to evidence acceptance.

On-premise BlendMod: the downloadable application runs on your own server. Your operational data (formulas, batches, customers, lots) stays on your network and is not sent to us.

2. How we use information

• To provide, maintain, and secure the services and your account.
• To process subscriptions and send service and billing emails (via Resend).
• To respond to support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content to train external AI models.

3. Legal bases (where applicable)

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the services, to comply with law, and with your consent where required (e.g., non-essential cookies).

4. Sharing & subprocessors

We share information only with service providers that help us operate, under appropriate terms, including:

• PayPal — payment processing.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Hosting & network providers (e.g., our server host and CDN/DNS) — to serve the site.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

5. Data retention

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the services, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period unless a longer period is required by law. Acceptance and billing records may be retained as needed for legal and accounting purposes.

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@blendmod.com. If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA), we do not sell or share personal information as defined by that law, and you may exercise your rights without discrimination.

8. International transfers

We operate in the United States. If you access the services from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries with different data-protection laws.

9. Children

The services are for business use and are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy; material changes will be posted here with a new version and effective date and, where required, we will ask you to re-accept.
